Editing audio files from OBS

Apologies if this topic has been covered before. New user. I just purchased movie studio 17 and my first 2 multi track editing efforts (backing track & Vocal) imported from OBS went swimmingly. Every recording since has had issues when I import the remux mp4 file from OBS. My vocal sounds like it's dropped (slowed down) by a tone, but the backing track is fine. I'm sure I read it's to do with the sample rate? but I'm not sure at all what I've done!. I have it set currently at 44,100kHz on both OBS and Movie Studio. I'm running Windows 10. I'm a bit of a novice at this, but if anyone can help, it would be greatly received.

A couple of things to try.

1. Try setting Movie Studio project to 48 Khz. it will adapt your 41.1 Khz just fine.

2. Play with your Vegas Audio driver preferences. Vegas may be hijacking the audio decoder.

3. Take a look at this thread. My preferred "best practice" settings are at the end.

Hey Musicvid, thanks again for the help last night. I tried your settings, and various others, but I'm still experiencing the exact same issue ... my vocal track drops in pitch. Did I read somewhere that there is a bug??? I had previously been using platinum 15 with no issues, but I don't have access to that copy anymore.

I don't have your version, so I guess there is a possibility of a bug.

I don't have an issue with OBS in VP14.
