Just wanted to say I’ve been missing the chats and so. Recovery is taking time. If our Esteemed Mod whats to boot this to off topic so be it 😎 - it’s all good.
Not many people know, I played B3 and Rhodes in a TOP / AWB cover group on the midwest club and hotel circuit from '74-'78, until John Travolta came along and changed our world forever. Honestly @john_dennis , until I clicked your link, I thought you were prescribing Squib Cakes!
I wonder if the USA is going to look at Covid-19 differently now that President Trump has tweeted that both he and Melania have tested positive to Covid-19 (source: CNN 01:00 news NY time).

Just heard that on the news. I don't wish it on anyone, but we shouldn't be surprised it happened.

Many of us do look at it differently, and it is unimaginably frustrating living among so many that do not... I too hope this brings some positive change, as far as how this disease is perceived goes, and hope all involved recover as well.
I moved this to off topic since this is bound to be a sensitive topic for some, and it's technically off topic from its original post now that we're talking about others having contracted the disease who don't even post here... that said, I do think this topic is relevant enough for this thread, but let's please keep it civil.
I've just watched an hour of Aljazeera news on the US situation. Given that POTUS has contact with many people there could be others that go down with the virus. Even Joe Biden from the "debate" a few nights ago.
@Grazie just realised you've changed your avatar back!
I personally no comment for his politic act / view or current election campaign..., especially I also being non-USA resident, but..., whatever your faith / believe is, let's pray and give / send a positive energy towards them, wherever they are in this world, including President Trump, who are affected and those being recovered from COVID-19, so that they can survive this and fully recovered.

It's fair to say some in the US will look at it differently. For others, "pride" will get in the way. Since the 1940s, certain geopolitical ideologies have had a really funny sense of personal rights, usually at the cost of others'.
In the UK, like a 10th-Rounder Boxer, we are presently stumbling and tumbling towards another full-on lockdown. I’m guessing that my immunity will be rigorously tested. The pity is there is no way that my particular cohort is being regularly scanned/tested/referenced to add value to the evidenced-based results - and it should! I’m “meeting”/speaking with more and more Survivors. The evidence for making clinical decisions based on the realities and NOT political whimsy has got to be grasped. The UK is a small tiny island. It does NOT have the massive, geographical largesse of the US, and even THAT is being recognised as becoming compressed.
