Magic YUV on VP19?

@MagicYUV

I reinstalled Ultimate version 2.3.1 but it didn't find Vegas Pro 19 build 424. Will there be an update available soon?

@Musicvid

Works OK here, but you must do some copying.

1. Go to C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 18.0 and copy the file "magicyuvplug.x64.fio2007-config". Then paste into C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 19.0.

2. Go to C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 18.0\FileIO Plug-Ins and copy the folder "magicyuvplug". Then paste into C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 18.0\FileIO Plug-Ins.

It should then show up in V19.

Thanks Wayne, I tried copying and pasting the folder with the dll and also the config file before I posted, but it didn't show up in VP19 Render As after a restart. But your post has motivated me to try again. I'll report back.

Have you copied it from VP18 folder?

It does not work if you copy it from VP17 folder, for example.

Yes, there are 2 versions--the older which is compatible with V13-V17 and the later which works with V18-V19.

Yes, it's working on 18 and now on 19. I'm still recovering from eye surgery, so there's no telling what I did the first time I tried. Thanks friends!
