No audio

So I have Vegas Pro 17 on a windows 10, and I will just be casually editing my video. But sometimes when I make a cut or hit the undo button (or anything else really) the audio will just suddenly STOP playing. No Audio can be heard. I havent muted any track and the tracks show signs of audio being played, but no sound will play....and youtube, google, etc. Still all make!

Now whenever I try to open the Media Info on the video, it will just casually open it up to WATCH it....I went to Media info, asked for text, and it wont even open up Media info

Right-click the media file. MediaInfo 'should' be listed in the context menu. Click on that.

That is what I hit but it will always ask me how I want to open the video, such as movies or tv, it doesnt actually open up media info, EVEN though I am hitting Media Info

Please click the link that Musicvid gave you and follow the instructions.

In plain language: You have to download the "Mediainfo" software, install it and use it to provide the information you want.
