Problem:My 60 fps video always lags in the preview window

I am currently trying to put a video in Vegas 15 and no matter what I do it always comes out distorted. When I originally put the video in it cuts parts out and is sped up and not in sync with the audio. The project settings and video settings are the same. This is not a rending problem this is an editing problem so I can comprehend whats going on and edit it. the clip is 1920 by 1080 and frame rate of 59.94 frames per second. It renders fine in h.264 with a shortage in quality. If anyone can help me with this, that would be greatly appreciated.

Post your system specs. Previewing 60p is a test for any CPU. Timeline effects rarely preview smoothly at that frame rate without prerender, proxy, or intermediate.

I have a Nvidia gtx970m. the weird part is iPhone 60 fps video preview normally with no problems. and when it renders without the h.264 it is all messed up. The camera is a Fujifilm FinePix xp120. I think the problem is that it does not have a constant frame rate

And your complete system specs? There is actually a reason I asked.

Yes, iPhone video must be muxed or converted to CFR before editing.

I told you my graphics card. I have a GE62 6QF Apache Pro MSI laptop, 64-bit pc. Here is the processor

I don't need to convert my iPhone videos before i edit them

I assume by now you have tried all the approaches mentioned that the link above without success.

That being the case, your next best bet is to start here:
