You don’t have enough CPU ooomph or operating system access to memory to get good results from a program that caculates frames of video where none exists.

Did you notice there was period at the end of that sentence?

You really should have an i7 to get a smoother preview with twixtor.

Guys many thanks for your help. Will it be enough if I only purchase an i7 processor? Or should I renew my computer completely?

I don't think any computer can playback twixtor in real time. Traditionally you pre-render using Shift-B then playback the timeline

@evrim-f I'm no PC builder, but just purchasing an i7 hoping to 'do a swappsies install, can't see that happening? You're also languishing on 32-Bit. You've got to have more than that.

I know, I know . . Being lead by the nose on this road of managering your/mine expectations on a our need for more when it comes to exploring our creativity often makes me wanna get back to paper and GOUACHE crayons, and so on.

Advice here: Do NOT purchase anything until you've done your research and can tap into an honest reputable and after sales service PC builder - I have my own! Oh yes. 😎

BTW, just did a quickie TWIXTOR project and all the advise from the chums here is important - might I add turning down the Preview quality, if you can stomach it - I do. Also try the Pre-Render using a quick and nasty Renderer Template. I dont need fancy for a LooknSeeMe.

+1

G's advice is spot on. And don't go buy a slick gaming rig, no matter how impressive its GPU. Look instead at the video rendering benchmarks at tomshardware and put your $ on a righteous CPU.
