Rendering UHD

jumbo wrote on 1/20/2020, 8:39 PM

When I render UHD projects I have crashes when ever I start the render at a cut point in an empty event or at the beginning of the timeline.

When a project renders the name then overruns into the beginning of the picture and slowly fades even when I have 2 or 3 seconds of black leader. Suggestions?

(V Pro Edit v 17 build 387, i7-7700K Win 10 Pro, 32 GB RAM; GTX1080)

thanks Ned Cordery.

That is probably a function of the media player/software you are using to view the video. Vegas will not put graphics at the beginning of a video by itself.

What do you mean by empty event? As in, nothing there on the timeline?

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

64GB 3000mhz DDR4

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

Laptop:

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 32GB (9980HK CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, dual 4K touch screens, main one OLED HDR)

Please follow the link @john_dennis gave you.

Just before it crashes, does your screen look like this?
