Uninstalling old versions

Is there anything to make sure of when uninstalling older vegaspro versions. What could remain in the directories that new version of vegas is accessing or you could later move from old\ directories?

I remember manually adding stuff in the past, but can't remember if it was to the actual main directory or somewhere else. I uninstalled vegas 13 & 14, and thinking about getting rid of 15. My ssd is filling up

I use the 'Revo Uninstaller' (freeware version), which scans the system after the initial uninstall and gives the option to choose which leftover files, folders and registry entries you wish to keep. This is easier than digging through the registry, appdata and other system folders.

+1

It's a lot faster than purging the registry by hand, and it works.

My question badly asked. I mean if I have been adding to old vegas over years such as scripts, presets and manual install plugins is it possible i lose if delete old directories. does new vegas copy stuff over or some things i have to copy over or I lose when doing auto uninstall or manual directory delete?

I would copy as much of the custom settings as possible prior to an uninstall a lot of Vegas' custom settings can be copied/pasted from the 'Username> Appdata (system) folder and can be pasted to the 'new' VP install. AFAIK, not much if any of the VP Appdata files are shared w/ different VP versions.
