Vegas Pro 14.0 Setting for Instagram Stories.

Hello, does anybody know the right settings to use when preparing a short video on Vegas Pro for Instagram Stories? I have tried decreasing the Frame Size but still had no luck in having it posted. Thank you.

I never use IG story, but one thing for sure the video must be Portrait mode.

There is a tutorial in this link. The aspect ratio concepts are the same for Vegas. Render using Sony or Mainconcept avc/aac and transfer back to your phone for upload to Instagram.

a- Instagram stories seem straight. This means that you will want to create vertical videos for your stories.

b- The aspect ratio for the Instagram Stories is 9:16 (full portrait format). It is a little wider than the usual photo or video taken on a mobile phone. So keep in mind that you can cut out the sides when uploading Instagram Stories.

c- Pay attention to the "History" interface so that it does not overlap the video. You probably do not want to place the text directly above or below.

d- Instagram stories are only available 24 hours a day. So try to keep your content timely and fresh. Nobody wants to see stories about something that happened a century ago (unless it's a story about tautology!)
