Vegas Pro 19 : Disappointed!

Hi, I've been a Vegas fan since Vegas Video 2 and became a Beta tester in the Sony Days. The latest version upgrade offer I went for based on the Pro Edit version inclusion of colorising old black and white movies. FIRST problem, as an English speaking owner, I am sent an update email in German. Whilst I understand a smattering - there is no way that I can read the German instruction manual or work out what the heck the instructions are about installing plug ins. BTW The German Instruction manual says Vegas 18 on the front page. I just about got the download of the programme install and deep learning in English as there is a choice for language during install on that - but the new Vegas Pro Edit 19 is useless without an English manual folks ... PLEASE consider giving me a link to where I can get the manual so that I don't have to keep hassling you all about simple things - like WHERE is the utility to colorise my hours of old black and white movie projects. My MAIN reason for upgrading and a seriously sought after feature for my main present workload. Apart from that - this is STILL the most amazing piece of edit software that I have used, with so many user configurable features and excellent quality codec support. PLEASE will someone send me a link to the ENGLISH manual for the software, and tell me where to find the colorisation menu?

@Anthony-Koorlander The colorization utility is located in the fx menu, but in order for it to appear, you must have the VEGAS Deep Learning Models (click to download if you need to) installed, as this plugin uses artificial intelligence deep learning models to colorize the video (the same is true for the upscale/zoom plugin and style transfer). For that same reason, it can take a little time to render, so be patient.

And yes, 19 currently has 18's manual, they are short a tech writer and are working on getting that fixed now. In the mean time, we're all here to help, so don't hesitate to reach out if you need a tutorial.

As for everything being in german, maybe you downloaded the wrong version? When I install this version, everything is in English.

Thanks Fr0sty .. I got my email in German, and the manual and plugin instructions are also in German, the installation is of course language selectable so that's not the problem. The link was for my upgrade, so I could only download the one version.

I believe you can change your language preferences in your Magix Account.
