I need a bit of help with transitions on a video where the video is 640x480
I want to keep the video with the black bars on the side, but I want the transition on the actual video and not on the black bars. Is there a way to actually do this?
Render your video with transitions in a 640x480 project, then import that into your bigger-screened project. Nesting will probably also work, but you'll have to try.
Nesting does work.
Edit: I guess that's what youtube is for.

I decided on something to do that might work, but now I don't know how to render a 640x480 video, and I can't see any rendering option for it in the "Render As" window! How do I render a 640x480 video in Vegas Pro?
In Render As dialog go to Customize Template and in Frame Size Choose 640x480.
