Whats the best intermediary File Format to minimize generational loss?

Tried magicyuv: 1:45 min clip takes ~30min 3.7gb 

Problem was Centrino Duo 2gb couldnt decode it properly, VSO encoder culdnt read it !!

i would think that looking at any uncompressed inter on a centrino duo is wishful thinking ;-(

Is Magix YUV now decoded as 10bit in Vegas? Will not be need by all users, but can be important for users running a 10bit workflow.

MagicYUV (nothing to do with MAGIX) is an 8-bit codec. There is a 10-bit version that is not publicly released. Or are you asking something else?

Yes that is a significant limitation - at least for me who works either with 10bit XAVC I or 10bit ProRes footage.
