Couple quick questions On Selecting Clips and size viewing

Hey all, Couple more newbie questions

1. I usually work on my clips but often have a number of clips to the right side of the clip I am working on. Sometimes I need to move all those clips farther to the right so I can make more room on the clip I am presently working on. I know I can hold ctrl and click each clip I want to move, or I can also click the first clip I want to move and then click the last clip and that will select them all but sometimes that is a lot of scrolling.

Is there a way that you can click on a clip and basically say this clip and every clip to the right of this clip needs to be selected?

2. Another question I have is about the zooming in on the clips feature where you can make the thumbnails bigger smaller either horizontally or vertically. When I resize the the thumbnails to my comfort level for editing I can to work and that is great, but if I close Vegas and come back in later the vertical and horizontal views are reset and I got to resize them again... any way I can keep the settings

Thanks

1 Yes. Auto Ripple. Be warned, it is very powerful.

2. Huh... Great question.

1. Right-click on the event (clip) and choose Select Events to End.

2. Did you try to save your project after the zoomings-in? See if it keeps some of the settings.

Re Q2 ….

On the assumption that you are referring to the size of the thumbnails in the Explorer window, you can increase the size of the thumbnails by highlighting one of the thumbnails and then using CTRL-mouse wheel. The downside is that thumbnail sizes do revert to default size in closing/re-opening VP, but CTRL-mouse wheel is quite easy. I'm not aware of anyway to 'save' the larger size.
