If you've had it for over a year without issues, it's obvious that something has happened to your system that's conflicting with Movie Studio. I suggest you start your own thread and give details of your issues.
Regarding refunds, you need to inspect the current MAGIX General Terms and Conditions for your area linked below (or try the email addresses mentioned in them). Unfortunately the policy has changed recently.
