"If you have not received the confirmation email, please contact our customer support, specifying your order number, under: shop@magix.net" (from the "Thank you for your order" document from MAGIX)

All very good, but the ONLY thing I received from Magix was the Invoice!

So, please contact their customer support, specifying your order number, under: shop@magix.net

Or Online Live Chat (advice here)

Trying that, silence so far But thanks for trying.

Why do they make it so difficult to actually get support?

vkmast wrote on 6/22/2022, 10:27 AM

Do you mean that you cannot send an email to that address? Please note that the response may not be instant and may take a day or two. And Live Chat has a limited time window.

No, my email has gone into the ether but no response yet.

I did not have that email address until you gave it to me, or any other direct email address to the support group, if they exist. They do not make things easy.

Sorry that you have this negative experience. I've always received all necessary details when purchasing from the Online Shop at www.vegascreativesoftware.com

Not your fault, I’ve used Vegas since 2008 without needing to call on support before,

@Christopher-Tyler I had that problem and my work-around was to set up a free temporary gmail account which allows me to receive Magix email. Last time I looked, Magix DNS also had a proprietary security key for Outlook so those accounts might also work. Only an issue in places like the US where email server authentication is strictly enforced.

Thank you for your thoughts and suggestions. I do not have any problem receiving email from Magix, my problem is getting Magix to send me an email!

but thanks anyhow

STOP PRESS: Have just received necessary information from Magix,

Thank you Magix and all who tried to help me.
