Canon MXF files

I'm currently using Vegas Movie Studio 16, which apparently does not handle Canon MXF files. I have to convert them first using another software program. Does Vegas Pro handle MXF files directly? If it does, I would consider upgrading.

My main camera is a Canon xf300 series which makes mxf files which I can pull right into Vegas without conversion.
