I have the latest version of PluralEyes (13.1.14), and I just upgraded my Vegas from VegasPro17 to VegasPOST Suite18 (which includes Vegas Pro18). PluralEyes used to run within my VegasPro17, but I can't figure out how to integrate it with VegasPro18. It doesn't show up when I do View/Extensions.Anyone know how to do that?
If anyone is having difficulty finding "C:\ProgramData\ "it may because the folder is hidden. In Windows go to Control Panel ; search for 'hidden files' ; then under File Explorer Options click on "Show hidden files and folders". Then under View and Advanced settings click on 'Show hidden files, folders and drives'.
Once you've got to "C:\ProgramData\" go to the "VEGAS Pro" folder. You'll find folders for all the versions you've had of VEGAS. Open the "18.0" folder [ignore the "18.0.284" folder]. Open the "Application Extensions" folder [create the folder if there isn't one in the "18.0" folder] and copy "PE4VegasLoader14.dll" into it.
This worked for me.
Congratulations to all the Vegas team at Magix on a great upgrade. After installing version 18 I added a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card and I am delighted with the performance and stability of Vegas 18 and the way it interacts with the 2060. Well done everyone!
Copy PE4VegasLoader14.dll from C:\ProgramData\VEGAS Pro\17.0\Application Extensions to C:\ProgramData\VEGAS Pro\18.0\Application Extensions
This worked on one computer but not on a second. Pluraleyes still loads in VP 15 and VP 17, but not 18.
I'll also note that on the computer that it is working on, there is an Application Extensions folder on the top level of the VEGAS Pro folder (in ProgramData). Pluraleyes loads for VP 18 on that computer even if I don't have the dll copied in to an Application Extensions folder in the 18.0 folder. It seems to be looking for the global folder.
I have tried reinstalling both PE and VP 18 and run updates.
I just installed V18 last week (upgrade from V15 on an old PC). I then installed PluralEyes 4.1.11 which is the latest version. I can launch PluralEyes standalone but not from Vegas - ie in Tools > Extensions, there is no choice for PluralEyes Did I miss something?
Hello, I would like to know if the trial version of Pluraleyes 4.1.11 (5214) works with Vegas Pro 18. Even adding the Application Extensions folder and the dlls, for me it doesn't work.
Okay. Installing Pluraleyes automatically puts a Application Extensions folder into the folders called 14.0, 15.0, 16.0, etc etc. Copy the folder out of one of those and put it into your 18.0 and 18.0.527 folders. Then copy the two .dll files mentioned above into them as well.
Jeez, from problematic purchase to unfindable download to unable to update ( stuck with 4.1.6 build 1171 as they obviously never updated the main download) to the not working Vegas implementation, this is the worst $295 software mayhem I've ever gone through. Still can't get it to show in any Vegas , tried all the tweaks here.No email or chat answer either. This is a joke. An expensive one. Has anyone gotten it to work in V19?
Thanks RogerS everything abput it seems chaotic. I thought I bought PE through their official website, turns out it's s scam, the sale is redirected to Hotmart, most of the communication seems to be in Spanish. This is what I got from Maxon:
Thank you for contacting the Maxon support team. Unfortunately, Hotmart is a scam. They are selling pirated licenses. We are not affiliated with that company in any shape. Our legal team is aware and looking for options currently.
You'll need to contact them and request a refund. If you have issues, please let me know so I can pass that information to legal team.
