I glimpsed the comments before work this morning and went into Vegas and I think it is my father saying a cherry Hello. Which in the transition fade and swipe seems to get distorted to a sweeping sound.

Now on lunch break and searching YouTube on how to edit that small section of audio.

Just hold the Shift key and drag one edge of the audio so it doesn't overlap for the Transition.

Thanks for the tip.

In the end I went for placing the fade over lap, insert a split at the end of the fade, change the audio profile in the fade type and reduce the gain. A bit of a Heath Robinson approach work around.
