No it doesn't have any effect sorry

So it seem like the problem for me is not the Vegas Pro program but it is the computer itself.

Than the big question is what is that problem because I have no idea😅

Your computer hardware should be capable of playing this video in an 8-bit project. My aging i7-3770(k) can play it (in Vegas Pro 13-453) with the on-die intel video adapter and capture the screen in the background.

As does the Vegas 16 trial on the system in my profile.

Yes I know right. So there is something wrong with my computer because when I play the video clip in Vegas Pro it keep on lagging for me

But what is the problem that is a mystery to me

Even on my Surface Pro6 the file plays at Best/Full and 59.94fps all the time. Where are your source files located at? On an external drive, a spinning disk...?

I got multiple internal hard drives one for recorded videos and one for the operating system and one for all the programs I am using and I also tried to copy the video file to all those hard drives to see if it was the hard drive that made the problem but it made no difference the same problem keeps occurring

So here's a little update, First I have completely reinstall  my Windows 10 after that I installed Vegas Pro and yes you guessed it there hasn't changed anything. So what for options do I have left so I had a idea let's try a different video editing program, So why not use Abobe Premiere Pro.(yes I know how coud you do that but it is a test 😄) When I started up the program I was so ready to make a video I dropped in the video file and was ready to see if it's going to play smoothly in this preview screen and of course the same problem showed up the screen keeps lagging even with this program the only difference I saw was for a second it played normally but then the lag kicks in. I don't know what to do, need help please 🙁

Also I want to mention that when I play the video file ''normally'' (what I mean by that is with a mediaplayer like VLC media player,Windows Media Player,DivX player, ect.) I have no issues with the video I can play it without any stuttering or lag but when I play it in a video editing program I can't play it normally without it lagging all over the place

I tested your video here in Vegas Pro 14 and in the VegasPro 16 on an i5 3330 with 8GB and with the video card OFF in the Windows 10 1803 and the 59.940p playback was normal with no crashes.

Try this:

1.Go to Options/Preferences/Video

In Dynamic Ram Preview Max (MB) Choose = 0

In GPU Acceleration of Video Processing choose = OFF

@WackyVids that is not what Windows operating like.
The programs you actually are using belong on the location in the Programs set by Windows for the Vegas installation, in this case on C:\Program Files when Windows is your operation system.
I don't say the things are mostly not going to work on other drives but this is Windows preference.

That is entirely what to expect.

Player decoding in real time ( with lots of errors you will never see), and unpacking the video to raw uncompressed bits for editing are two entirely separate, unrelated operations, Any comparisons are futile.

and I also came a cross your ''Smooth playback tips'' I did exactly what it said but it didn't help for me

I'm betting you missed something. One step at a time, verifying each step individually that's how to troubleshoot.

There is nothing remarkable about your video! It should preview at near optimal frame rate, assuming sensible previewing conditions. You may be simply overconfigured, which is not all that uncommon, yet it is the reason for many unanticipated bottlenecks. Are you running RAID 0? Overclocking? Multitasking? Don't do those.

Yes when I reinstalled Windows 10 I also installed the Vegas Pro program on C:\Program Files to see if that made a difference but sadly no

Yes I missed something but I really don't know what i've missed the link you showed me I have done this multiple times I even uninstall Vegas Pro and reinstall the program and did the steps again with no results

Also I can tell you this I have no RAID 0 hard drives and my cpu is not overclocked and Vegas Pro is the only program I have turned on when I'm editing videos, So I don't know what I can tell you more
