Vegas Pro 18, Multitrack: Synching video after starting the multitrack

Hello all, first post. Relatively new to video editing this year, been using Vegas Pro 18 and multitrack to edit together video footage from 3 different camera angles from a sporting event.

However, with multiple files for each angle, some sections i have to sync manually and in this instance, i've managed to sync them slightly incorrectly for the final part of the video.

Hoping there's a way i can correct this without having to start over. Hope i've explained myself well, i did search all previous topics for about 30 minutes before posting, also!

It's a pain in the neck to resync afterwards but I've had to do it once or twice. First did a multitrack expansion back to the original camera tracks selecting the option to delete unused segments. Note that this doesn't really delete material if any part of a camera clip was used, because it's all still there if you drag a clip boundary. I then grouped everything so segments don't move independently... with the "ignore event grouping" button not activated. However to move an event segment that needs it the button can be activated temporarily or you can temporarily remove the clip from the group. Afterwards the cuts will probably be off and maybe some gaps too so clip boundaries may need a little adjustment.

In addition, click the event with your left mouse button and while still holding that down, hold down your right mouse button (so now you're holding both mouse buttons down) and move the mouse. This temporarily overrides grouping so you can move the event freely and independently.

Before creating the multicam track, render all of your source tracks to new ones, so they are available when needed. It's good insurance against getting stuck during editing.
