In the Vegas 19 Edit purchase I made, the AI FX are most definitely available and appear as they should in my installation. Ergo, the AI Deep Learning Models did come with Vegas 19 Edit that I purchased. Vegas 19 Edit is Vegas Pro (and always has been) but without the extras that come with Vegas Pro 19 or Vegas 19 Post. The only thing that has really changed is that there has been a change in the naming conventions where Vegas Pro Edit is now known as Vegas Edit. Vegas Pro and Vegas Post continue as is, but the former Vegas Pro Suite has now been dropped.
As per the comparison chart just below the features on the Vegas Edit feature page, note that the Vegas 19 Edit listing states:
Unfortunately the product pages are not immune to occasional errors/omissions. The VP 18 pages at the vcs.com site did mention that AI fx were in Edit as well. I'm sure neglecting to mention it this time (as peter-h noted) was an unintentional omission and not meant to induce buyers to use the VEGAS Pro purchase option instead of the VEGAS Edit one. Both include VEGAS Pro 19.
I have the same issue with the AI plug-ins as well. When I installed 19 pro (and even 18 before that), I made sure that everything was installed via the installer.
For some reason I can't find those AI plugins afterwards (including the style transfer ones), and was wondering whether my computer may not be compatible with them.
My specs:
Sef-built PC based on a Ryzen 9 3900 CPU
64 GB RAM
AMD RX580-based GPU
Windows 10 - latest build
My initial response was that maybe the AI plug-ins are only compatible with Intel-only builds.
Any ideas?

One of the staff or mods said AI uses openVino . That is intel only. Other software that uses OpenVino has a fallback for CPU's without OpenVIno, so an AMD chip can still run the software but the Intel will run it faster

Thanks todd-b. This definitely confirms what I’ve been thinking for a while.
I may in the future acquire an Intel-based laptop to run my second copy of Vegas on it, and see how it fares.

I don't really know what it is either, I think an instruction set, like AVX , SSE etc but only Intel has it
When installing VP19 I seem to recall it installs vegas and the AI kit, plus it also installs any framework your computer doesn't have, so the install is supposed to do it all for you, but there looks like problems
One thing I notice you have KF version of CPU, that has no IGPU, does OpenVino require the IGPU as well?
Hi. Did anyone find a consistent solution for this? I also can't see the upscale option (see screenshot of all the fx I can see). I'm on vegas 365, with vegas 19 installed on AMD processor and Intel GPU. How do I tell if the Deep Learning Module is installed/activated? When I run the installer for the DLM it says it wants to uninstall it, so I'm assuming it is installed, but I can't see how to check.
Thanks @Dexcon for response. Something odd going on with my installation. DLM doesn't show in my app list (just the installation files turn up on a system search). I've just uninstalled Pro19 + DLM and reinstalled after reboot, and same thing. DLM not showing up as an app, and smart upscale not showing in the fx list. I do see 'scene detect' - I thought that was also a DLM module. When you say you see DLM in your app list, what do you see (Sorry for specific question, just really puzzled by this).
When you reinstalled, was it from what you already have, or did you re -download the software and make sure AI is checked to be downloaded and installed.
Hi, thanks all. Should have said I'm on windows 11. I can see Vegas 19 and Vegas DLM in my Apps and Features list (it doesn't turn up in some of the apps views, hence not seeing it before I guess). I reinstalled from a fresh copy of the Magix installer. Very odd. I guess it's one for Magix support...

Looking at your fx list you don't have Colorisation, Upscale or Style Transfer - which are part of the Deep Learning Module. The installer has detected that you have it installed hence the message to uninstall before re-installing.
You may have the Intel Opencl problem. To check, on your C Drive search for intelopencl*.dll
If intelopencl32.dll and / or intelopencl64.dll show up do the following:
@gabgilson ... please take into account that Vegas Pro 19 does not as yet officially support Windows 11 - which might well be a consideration. Some comments have reported no problems with W11 but there is a growing number of reports on the forum with a varying range of problems with VP on W11.
