Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 17 Build 223 failed to install

Software: Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 17.0.0 Build 223

OS: Windows 10 Pro 21H1

On re-installation of Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 17.0.0 Build 223 the following error message appears, the installation fails:

Error -2147163964 during installation
Error during registration of the module C:\Program Files\Vegas\Movie Studio Platinum 17\sfvstwrap.dll. HRESULT -2147024770. Please contact the Support.

I had an installation of the SW before but it did not start anymore so I uninstalled and try to reinstall.

How to fix the issue?

Many thanks for the very quick response. This solved my problem. After reinstalling all the C++ redist. everything is fine now.
