I noticed that ProDad sell VitaScene either as a perpetual licence or by annual subscription, Given that the Vegas Pro upgrade offer gives VitaScene a $699 value, and that is ProDad's cost for the perpetual licence, the conclusion is that it is perpetual licence that comes with the above offer.
The plugin is very powerful, but I recommend trying it out first, because it links to a separate interface to create these effects so doesn't integrate very well with Vegas. Of course, this may not be a problem for you. So feel free to try it out first. https://www.prodad.de/support/vitascene/vitascene-40-64bit.exe
Thanks very much for the tip @lan-mLMC. I just had a look at a demo of using VitaScene on YT (they used Premiere Pro as the host NLE) and I see what you mean. In a way, it's similar to using the (optional) FX Window in BCC plugins so wouldn't be a completely alien workflow.

Yes, so users can't adjust keyframe in Vegas UI. If users are doing some Music Video and want to sync keyframe's position & easing to the music, the VitaScene workflow will give you a terrible experience.
Was anyone able to confirm whether it's indeed the perpetual version of VitaScene 4 Pro? I'd be very interested in upgrading if it's indeed the perpetual version.

I didn't try the transitions, but Vitascene V4 Pro's VFX seems to work okay on the timeline in Vegas Pro 16, 17 & 18 in the same as they do with VP19.
Vitascene's VFX applied seemingly okay in Resolve 18 beta, but Resolve created an Open FX Error dialogue window which states "Vitascene v4 could not be run successfull. See DaVinci Resolve logs for details".
@Dexcon I've considered Vitascene V4 Pro, but I already have installed V3 Pro. In their comparison between V3 and V4, the differences are the seamless transitions and compatibility with all NLE's they support, including Resolve.
Now you've got me curious as to if it will work with Resolve 18 beta...
For "me", seamless transitions are not a necessity, but to get something that will work also with Resolve would be a huge positive since V3 doesn't.
Since it's 'beta' some things might be fixed later on with V4. Unfortunately, I don't have Resolve 17 Studio installed anymore. Beta overwrites it.
@Reyfox ... ProDad's website lists only Resolve 16 and 17 as being compatible for VitaScene V4 Pro, but then Resolve 18 is very new and maybe needs to get out of Beta before compatibility is established one way or the other for 18.
