Dumb quest, but I thought the third number was the bit rate, but this is from a camera that I know has a 17 mb rate at this setting.

What does the 12 represent? Color depth?

My guess would be frame rate -- frames per second.

That's not broadcast quality animation by any means, but a lot of online video and animation uses that frame rate or slower.

Thanks vkmast, learn something new every day.The reason I gussed color depth is that I had a 32 bit color file and it was showing 32 bit.

Confusing on why those formats don't show it correctly.
