Academic Pricing for Vegas 15?

Amadeus- wrote on 9/1/2017, 4:58 AM

I received an email today providing me with information on upgrading to Vegas Pro/Suite 15. Does anyone know if there is academic pricing for this product (either new or upgrade?)

I feel like I originally purchased Vegas using academic pricing; however, I cannot recall if it was my original purchase when it was still run by Sony, or if it was more recent.

Also, while I'm asking questions, I could have sworn that there was a way to log in to the Vegas Creative Software site to see my current license(s), download my purchased products, etc. Or, was I dreaming? (I can't seem to find a "login" link on the main Vegas Creative Software website.)

Thanks!

https://education.magix.com/en/order/ ?

I don't see the Suite listed though, so maybe you'd better contact Customer Support anyway.

Thanks! I find it odd that there is no mention of that site at http://www.vegascreativesoftware.com ...but, that's exactly what I was looking for with regard to the login, etc. (I also find it odd that there is no email address for sales related questions on the vegascreativesoftware site either.)

I also appreciate the link to the academic/education pages. I'm going to send those folks an email right now.

I wanted to report that I received an email from MAGIX Sales with detailed information on academic pricing for upgrades to VEGAS Edit, VEGAS Pro, and VEGAS Pro Suite. She indicated that "With the launch only having been a few days ago however, it's taking a bit of time to get our price listings updated" -- so, that's why the information isn't up on the website as yet.
