I have Vegas Pro 14. I accidentally put something on my keyboard a while back while the program was open, and seem to have resultantly triggered a hotkey by mistake for an option I didn't know existed. What this setting does is basically prevents any gaps. Whenever I remove an audio section from a video group (both of which are trimmed) for example and delete the audio, it will make up for the newly formed audio gap by moving all the events on those two tracks past that point to the left so that there is no gap in the audio. This leaves the video annoyingly overlapped and hard to separate again. If I remove audio from a group and try to drag the audio either way, the video will follow, even though it's not in a group with it. In fact, if I move any of the main two events (you know, the source video and audio) in any direction, EVERY EVENT TO THE RIGHT OF IT WILL FOLLOW. This is incredibly frustrating and messes up my entire process, demotivating me quite a bit. Anyone know what this setting is and if so how I turn it off?
Accidentally triggered a setting and can't turn it off
