Acoustic Mirror Impulse File default installation location question.

I read another person was having the same difficulty back in August 2020, that I am now having, with regard to Vegas Pro 18 Suite semi-automatically installing the "Acoustic Mirror Impulse Files" into my Windows 10 "Documents" directory, as a default. Since this selection also required my mouse input (I had to click "OK"), I've ever since worried that I was supposed to pick a proper directory (I wish the instructions had made a comment on this required manual entry). I didn't learn enough from the August post to determine whether Vegas Pro can find these "Impulse" files all by itself, or whether I need to configure Vegas Pro so it sees the directory I created. I know Vegas Pro will function fine without knowing where the Impulse files are located, but I would rather Vegas Pro have full access, so hopefully I'll be able to start using the impulse files, rather than eventually discovering I needed to configure Vegas Pro if I ever wanted to access them. I believe these are "acoustic" files, but pretty much EVERYTHING about Vegas Pro is new to me, so they might be video files. I really need instructions targeted for a newcomer. I have a similar file-location question regarding two other plugins I will post in new threads.

I have not used AM in a l o n g while. I vaguely recall, there was a setting in AM where to search for the impulse files. if 'Documents' is where they were placed upon install, I would assume that is the default location.

Thanks. You did just give me the idea to search out "Acoustic Mirror", but found nothing in the Vegas Pro help, and also discovered my Sound Forge "help" button doesn't (yet) work (no Forge help file?).

At present, I can find no way to access/find the Acoustic Mirror module/program/plugin. I'll put it on my list of "things to look for", along with my need to get the Sound Forge "help" button working. Cool thing about getting two workstations up-and-running at the same time is I determine whether the same bug is on both workstations (it is).

@Dave-Shoe do you mean that you don't find a download link for the Acoustic Mirror Impulse files? See here section 6. If Chrome does not download, try another browser.

The Acoustic Mirror impulse files are included with Sound Forge Pro and are a separate installation option in the SF install manager... That said. I do not think the "eFX Acoustic Mirror" plug-in is compatible with Vegas since it is not listed in the available FX plugs, at least on my version of VP-16.

btw, the missing Sound Forgo Pro 14 'Help' menu can be fixed by installing the 32 bit SFP-14 version (which will coexist w/o issue). The 'deep thinkers' at Magix are aware of the missing 'Help' data install bug and will allegedly be fixed in a future update.
