😖 Activation - Deactivation Vegas 17 - 365

😭 A week ago I solicited help from the Vegas community and received mostly similar feedback. I explained that I am a person who mostly works at the office, but on occasion with longer projects, like to go home and continue on my home PC. I have read and re-read the policy concerning the singular activation for one computer at a time - no problem with policy.

When I was last trying to resolve this problem, I contended that my Magix account did not appear to not recognize that my install was deactivated. I assumed there was a bug in my very new (i9-9900X 10 core / 64gb ram / Quadro P2200) system and therefore reinstalled the software which then forced the reactivation the computer needed.

A week later and a new project, I am still not able to reactivate software on one computer after the software was "deactivated" on my home PC. At this moment, my activation's on my account claim to be "Not in use". When I open the software and attempt to render something that requires an activation such as an MP3 Codec activation, I get the same warning which is:

"Deactivation not successful. The program has possibly already been deactivated for this device."

Great, now why can't I reactivate this other computer? There appears to be no option to reactivate like I would manage my Microsoft licences which is easily done with a click of a button, or with Adobe CC where I am prompted with a screen that shows where the software is activated allowing me to select or deselect and then reactivate another. If I understand, the process should be automatic even though online advice is to deactivate the active computer before trying to switch.

I only have so much hair left to lose before my wife finds me too hideous to keep, can someone help save my marriage.

There was a link to this comment in my reply in your previous thread (asking also note "the two following comments there". In your reply there you said that "my office install had a problem where there were no deactivation options. I proceeded to communicate with Magix via chat and they did confirm that the Vegas Pro subscription should allow an activate and deactivate option through the website."

From my later comment to another user: "VEGAS 365 can be activated on 1 computer at a time. For a different computer, deactivate the existing one and activate the other. The MAGIX Sales Dept. replies to my enquiries June/July 2019 put it a bit differently: "The software VEGAS 365 can be installed only on one computer" and "can be deactivated in the same ways that the standard license can, either from your account or from in the software itself. [:] There are 2 ways to deactivate a device so you can activate a different one: Visit your MAGIX account > My Products > Show More Details > Deactivate. This option can be used only once a month. OR From the VEGAS Pro Help menu choose Deactivate the Software on this PC. This option can be used as often as you wish. An internet connection is required."

Best you try and contact Support to work this out using the current procedure: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/support/form/

(In my "perpetual" (not subscription) version the option to "Deactivate the Software on this PC" is in the Help dropdown menu.)
