😠A week ago I solicited help from the Vegas community and received mostly similar feedback. I explained that I am a person who mostly works at the office, but on occasion with longer projects, like to go home and continue on my home PC. I have read and re-read the policy concerning the singular activation for one computer at a time - no problem with policy.
When I was last trying to resolve this problem, I contended that my Magix account did not appear to not recognize that my install was deactivated. I assumed there was a bug in my very new (i9-9900X 10 core / 64gb ram / Quadro P2200) system and therefore reinstalled the software which then forced the reactivation the computer needed.
A week later and a new project, I am still not able to reactivate software on one computer after the software was "deactivated" on my home PC. At this moment, my activation's on my account claim to be "Not in use". When I open the software and attempt to render something that requires an activation such as an MP3 Codec activation, I get the same warning which is:
"Deactivation not successful. The program has possibly already been deactivated for this device."
Great, now why can't I reactivate this other computer? There appears to be no option to reactivate like I would manage my Microsoft licences which is easily done with a click of a button, or with Adobe CC where I am prompted with a screen that shows where the software is activated allowing me to select or deselect and then reactivate another. If I understand, the process should be automatic even though online advice is to deactivate the active computer before trying to switch.
I only have so much hair left to lose before my wife finds me too hideous to keep, can someone help save my marriage.
