Animate button video problem

I want to animate the image on a selection menu button. I selected the button in question, under Media Properties - Media I set Style to Animate, not Still, and set the start time to be something a bit different than the chapter/scene marker setting.

When previewed, there is no animation. What am I missing?

What format and codec of video are you using for your source video?

Did you output this video optimized from Vegas or did you get it from some other source, like directly from a camcorder.

The original content was 1920x1080 from a DSLR camera, and rendered video is from Movie Studio 12, in .mpg 720x480 widescreen dvd, and was passed directly to ArchStudio via Movie Studio "Make Movie".

I have your book, but didn't see anything special to do beyond setting Style to animation.

Could not repro in the initial build of DVDAS 5 I have using similar workflow (PAL though and not DSLR source).

Which build of MSP 12 are you using? The latest ones are 895 (32-bit)/896 (64-bit).
