Are You receiving Emails From Magix Containing Porn Links

Peter-Riding wrote on 8/21/2022, 10:13 AM

Hi, I regularly receive emails into Outlook 2016 which purportedly are from noreply AT vegascreativesoftware.info which contain what appear to be porn links. I think others may get these as well because the emails are automatically dumped into the Junk Email folder in Outlook unopened. Outlook is hosted for me by Fasthosts UK. I am on Windows 11 bang up to date including security updates and also up to date with MS Defender.

Anyone have a solution for how to stop these arriving in the first place? Thanks.

The text below is a sample n.b. do NOT try these links just in case! The subject always purports to be from an existing old comment in the forum and claims to be advising me that this new comment has arrived on the forum:

These are just notifications for threads you are subscribed to for which a spammer has decided to post porn spam?

I report said posts to the moderators when I see them. I don't think the emails are a problem themselves, the problem is the post.

The moderators try to catch those violations of CRs on the forum ASAP and reports from users are read regularly. Thanks @RogerS, @j-v and others for helping.
