Audio Editor in MS13

Hi,
I'm using the trial version MS13 on Win10. When I right-click an audio event and select "open copy in audio editor" it says "there is no audio editor specified in preferences". But there is no option to select an audio editor in preferences on any tab. I have SF10 Pro installed that I use daily. Is this a limitation of the trial version of MS13?

Thanks!

Are you trying MS 13 or MS Platinum 13? In MSP 13 at least you can "Browse" to select the "Preferred audio editor" in Options > Preferences > Audio.
The Application Help of the basic Movie Studio 13 does not mention that option in its Audio tab Preferences. You should really choose the Platinum version anyway IMO.

I'm using MS13 Trial, not Platinum. There is no option to select an audio editor anywhere in Preferences, including the Audio tab. Thanks!

Looking at the Vegas Comparison chart, I don't see anything in the Platinum version that I would need compared to the regular MS13. Are there any certain features a beginner user like myself doing basic movies would miss from Platinum? Thanks!

If you want it Simple, MS Platinum 13 has the Simple Editing Mode. If you want more features (and you will after a while), you can change to the Advanced Edit Mode.
I strongly recommend you to try the Platinum version before you make a decision. You may be amazed at the difference.

Got it, I'll give it a try, thanks!

fyi: I went for it and got the full version of MS13P, and the audio option is there, so it was either a limitation of the Trial version of MS13, or MS13 doesn't have the option at all. Thanks for the help!
