audio track muted

HI all I hae been using Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum version 10 for several years now and have had little trouble with it. However the other day I must have done something wrong as the seperate lower audio track is now muted. It shows that in the settings BUT no matter what I do I cannot UNMUTE it. Even both ticking and unticking the settings boxes makes no difference AND the mute button on the top of the track left hand end settings also makes no difference on or off, I have rebooted the computer twice and even that makes no difference, When I start a NEW project without adding ANY content the audio track is again still muted. Adding audio it is there in the track but the track has a dark grey background. Start playing and the cursor moves along as usual but NO SOUND. Video is fine, and any sounds recorded on that play normally. It is voice over or such that will not play. This is driving me batty, so can some kind person get me out of this disaster. Thanks in advance.

A bit unclear for me if you ticked/unticked Options > Mute All Audio as well.

Thanks for the comment, it helped a lot. I started at the very beginning and went through EVERY icon and item until at the very end in the options I managed to unmute the audio tracks. It was odd that even the voice. Mussic and sound effects were all muted. I had never come across this problem as I said, but I really like the programme. It si the only one I have looked at and several of those, that allow a Scrolling Credit. (As is done in major movie credits. ) Thanks again. Cheers.

Good that you found the guilty party. Mute All Audio does mute all audio tracks (voice, music and sound effects tracks as they were named in the SVMSP 10 default layout) as it's supposed to do.
