I am trying to line audio up in DVD architect 5.0 and it works fine for the first half of the video. After the DVD layer break point the audio is about 2 seconds off. I have tried making the DVD with both a WMV and a mpg/mp3 combination. Any fixes? I need to get this to my client fast!
DVDs are made with mpeg-2 video and AC3 or PCM audio.
Also, I would never deliver a burned dual layer DVD to a client.
There will be a percentage of players that won't play past the break point.
Yes, putting WMV or MP3 audio is a no no. You're asking for problems. Personally, I renders a separate DD (AC3) audio using Vegas. I leave DVDA to only render the menus.
I've been using DL-DVD for a few years now. Not a single return so far this year. Like anything else, there's a few do's and don'ts. No1 being don't use cheap discs.
