Authoring DVD's in DVD Architect 5

Can anyone help?
I have used Movie Studio HD 11 for the last 4 years but continue to have trouble opening the movie files I've created in Movie Studio when I send to DVD Architect. The problem I have is that while the video track comes across - the audio track does not.
Frustrating! And I've spent hours trying to trouble shoot and resolve the issue.
I have successfully rendered the files and subsequently made basic DVD movies using Movie Maker, but I want to use the many features in DVD Architect to make better quality, more user friendly DVDs with menus and by incorporating some of the other offerings in the Movie Studio suite.
I have the same problem whether I use the .MPG files from a friend's Sany Handycam or the AVCHD files from my Canon Legria HFR26.
Would really appreciate help with my problem.

Jeff,
basically, you should do what musicvid10 advises here.
"Also, make sure you render both files to the same folder with the same name. "

You might also read this thread.
Don't know if the render templates are customizable in the basic Movie Studio version(s) though.

Jeff.
The standard way of doing this is as vk states.
However, you don't HAVE to do it this way. You can render the video and audio streams to entirely different folders if you need to (sometimes I find it desirable to do this). You will, however, need to 'tell' DVDAS where the audio file is. This is done in the Track Media tab of the Media Properties. Click the right side of the audio 1 option and select Replace. Browse to where your audio file is and click Open.

Or just drag it to the timeline when the video is selected. (But make sure that you don't accidentlally add it to the menu, say).
