Big Red X in VMS 16 Transition

Before I start, I am still new to this community. With that being said, I was unable to find anything while Googling this topic, which surprises me. I have VEGA Movie Studio 16 Platinum. (Technically I got Suite, not Platinum, it was a special at Best Buy but whatever) I'm making a small splash screen which uses a "shake" transition, which transitions from complete black, to the person's logo. However, for the duration of the transition, a big red X as well as a FX watermark remain on screen, even when exporting. Is there something I need to do?

Which transition is it? Probably a third party one such as NewBlue and it needs registering. If that's the case did Best Buy provide you with the NewBlue registration code? Also please clarify what you mean by "Technically I got Suite, not Platinum" as it affects what OFX you get.

Yes, I got a newblue reg code. And the transition says it's "shake". and to clarify, the software I downloaded was Platinum. I'll just leave it at that to avoid any fiurther confusion. So I have VEGA movie studio 16.0 Platinum. Also didn't realize once I re-placed the effect on my timeline, it prompted me for NewBlue. Thanks so much.

However a new problem arose: the serial for Titler Pro 7 (supplied on the box I bought) says it's an invalid SKU and the Supreme Package SKU wont even let me press "Submit" when trying to verify the serial number

See the product comparison table for what should be included in your purchase of the Platinum or the Suite. Please note that both versions include exactly the same Platinum. The Suite just has some extras as EricLNZ also mentions. If you go to your MAGIX Account > My products you should be able to see which version of Movie Studio 16 you have actually registered.

(Note also that this article from NewBlueFX does not make clear that Titler Pro 7 Express comes only with the VMS 16 Suite.)

So it says i have the serial for Suite. And "The following activations with this serial number are in use:" the onyl thing that comes up is Movie Studio Platinum 16. Also on the comparisions, it doesn't say NewBlue Supreme package is included. So since according to VEGA I have Suite, I should have all those things checked off on the comparisions page. So why, on my physical product so I have serial numbers for products I may not be able to use?

From your comments it appears your Best Buy deal wasn't a normal purchase. Perhaps the activation code you have is for a Platinum purchase, not Suite? Consequently the other items don't show with a Platinum activation key. You need a Suite activation key. Maybe something to sort out with Best Buy.

For reference you should have three activation keys for Suite, plus one for DVDA

Thanks for the clarification. The box I bought (and for the price I paid) said it was SUITE.

Thank you all for the comments, given this only stemmed from me missing one little effect. And I don't really use visual effects anyways so I suppose if this doesn't get sorted out, it's no big deal. I will sort this out with best buy to see what happened, given I should have received all those bells and whistles. And while this project is literally a 5 second video, does anybody have any alternative for a "shake" or "earthquake" effect that comes stock with VEGA Movie Studio Platinum 16?
