Buying Vegas Pro 15 Edit

Okay, so I know that I’ve posted at least five threads because of trying to decide whether to buy Vegas Movie Studio 15 or Vegas Pro 15. But now I’m pretty set on and am going to take advantage of the promotional price of Vegas Pro 15 Edit because there are several tools in Vegas Pro that I need that Vegas Movie Studio doesn’t have.

Through trying to find where to ask the following question to Magix directly and not on this forum, as I’ve previously been encouraged to, I couldn’t find where to ask it. So, I really just wanna try and get the answer here, if I may.

The question is as follows:

If I were to try and buy Vegas Pro 15 Edit over the weekend would my order still be processed, as in, is the system automated or does someone at Magix have to physically process it?

I know this question would be better asked through Magix directly but, as I indicated above, I wasn’t able to find anywhere to ask this. The contact form I did manage to find seemed to be mostly for troubleshooting VEGAS software problems, which obviously isn’t helpful to me at this stage.

If you dig into the "form" deep enough, you might find this: "Orders of a download version :
All download orders should be completed immediately. If you did not receive an email with your product order and serial number within 1 hour of ordering, then please contact our MAGIX Customer Service."

That's all in principle of course. You'd find out by trying.

Thanks for your help mate! That does seem to answer my question of what you’ve posted. I must admit, though, that the only form I found was this one:

However, I mustn’t’ve looked all too well (my bad) because in the dropdown menu there’s an option for ‘Pre-Sale Questions’. So, I might go ahead and use that. I’m still thankful for your help though. But I must ask, are you the number one problem solver around here? XD

I was kind of joking, of course. But just given the amount of thank yous you’ve recieved you do seem to be quite helpful. That’s not a criticism, just an observation. Because you’ve helped me out a good amount, of which I’m appreciative of.

ANSWER TO MY QUESTION

Just got an email back from Magix. They said that their order process is automated. I thought it might’ve been, considering the fact that they’d have to be able process orders 24/7 no matter the timezone. It’s good to get this conformation from them directly. So this should be quite helpful for anyone else wanting to know this as well. I’ve included the exact reply I received from them below.

We have an automated order system.

If you purchase an instant download version, you order is processed automatically and you'll receive the download link and serial number directly in the confirmation email within a few minutes.

For physical box versions, they are shipped from our warehouse in Germany. We operate Mon-Fri.

UPDATE

Just purchased Vegas Pro 15 Edit. Everything went smoothly, which was quite good. I was a bit concerned that it might not because my internet has been dropping out today, every now and then. But thankfully, everything went brilliantly. Interestingly enough, the program remembered my preferences from when I had the trial. So that’s quite nice. Now I can get on with editing!

Nope, still got Telstra Cable. But they are supposedly upgrading our network which is the supposed reason for the interruptions. That’s why I’m so glad there were no interruptions during my purchase of Vegas Pro 15. Others I would not have been at all happy, as you could imagine.

I dread the day when I have to move over to NBN.
