Can I safely Uninstall a Previous Version (14) after installing 17?

I just installed version 17 after upgrading from version 14. I see that my previous install (14) has not been eliminated. Is it Safe to uninstall the older version to save Disk space?

You can but you can also leave version 14 beside version 17 (in case of you have plug-ins installed for version 14 which maybe don't work in version 17).

Recommended to keep the old version at least for some time.
