Why on earth would you post your serial number on a public forum??

EricLNZ wrote on 11/18/2024, 4:27 PM

Please excuse my ignorance but what is "IRK code"?

@David-Lund: I do not understand your problem. I do not know what you mean by IRK code.

@David-Lund  No one here knows what you are talking about. And mainly because you are not explaining anything properly for us to understand in order to help you.

1RK xxx- xxx- xxx is what comes up right after I enter serial number.

@David-Lund please try contacting shop@magix.net and explain your issue (If you purchased your VEGAS software from the online shop at the website).

I've not seen an IRK code as ever being part of registering Vegas Pro, but IRK might be an Identity Resolving Key which apparently has something to do with Bluetooth according to:

That looks like an old, Sony-era serial number.

vkmast wrote on 11/19/2024, 4:01 PM

Indeed. (My old) SVMSP 10 S/N is 1RK-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx. So not something to do with IRK, which caused the confusion. Likely, needing to reset the "installation count" of an old SCS version was involved.
