So I'm pretty new to sony vegas but if I want to edit A Media FX like Brightness and contrast Its greyed out and I cant edit it or do Anything with it so if anybody knows how to fix this please tell me, i would be very happy indeed

Did you try pressing OK? It seems you may have deselected your choice by clicking on the grey area after pressing Add.

Alternatively, open the fx window (view - window - video fx) and drag/drop a preset on to your event. Should work either way, but just to get you going...
I Just fixed it I had to open the Interactive Tutorials And I got the option to edit everything again without a problem but thanks for all the help guys :D
