Can't Import AVI file?

Hey so I'm recording lossless footage with OBS and I'm not sure why Sony Vegas doesn't seem to want to import it.

Here's a screenshot from MediaInfo showing it's a YUV uncompressed AVI. I'm using Sony Vegas 21 and I have the K-Lite codec installed by the way

  1. As 3POINT has pointed out there is no "Sony" Vegas and there hasn't been for several years. Which build of Vegas 21 are you using and from where did you obtain it?
  2. K-Lite Codec has been known to cause problems. You could try uninstalling it
  3. Please post full media info on your file. As indicated below you need another view

Sorry I’ve been using Vegas since 9 so it will always be “Sony” Vegas in my heart. It’s Vegas 21 purchased from MAGIX during a humble bundle. It’s not a cracked copy.

side note I actually figured it out. I needed to download a “ut video” codec which allowed it work after I installed it

As someone who used this for 14 years, it will always be “Sony” Vegas in my heart. I don’t acknowledge the MAGIX brand
