Just tested and yes.
Signing in on the YouTube website was OK.

I second you, bb_king. I have been uploading videos to Youtube with no problem directly from the "Make Movie/Upload to Youtube" until today.

I also receive the exact same error message.

I have spend 4 hours trying to figure out the glitch and I give up. It certainly is a SONY problem.

Any way we can make them know?

"

No, it can't be a Sony problem because your software hasn't changed in the last 24 hours.

It is either Youtube's upload servers or they've changed their API's (again).
If it doen't clear up right away, you'll need to use Youtube's upload page and wait for the next VMS release..

Best.

Working here at the moment again.
Tested with MSP 12b896 and VP 12b563.

musicvid, you definitely have a point, I didn't think of that factor. Good observation.

Fellows, the system is uploading again. Thanks for all your comments and input.

Does anyone know if there is a faster way to upload files to YouTube?

I uploaded a 15 minute video to YouTube yesterday that was rendered with the "Better" method described .

It took nearly THREE hours.

John, take a look at your upload speeds.
Gotta be Youtube's server load.
It should take nowhere near that long.

I had this error (username password error on attempt to upload to YouTube from MS12) and fixed it by going into Youtube settings (Google+ settings) and selecting "Access for less secure apps". It was Google blocking Movie Studio and is now fixed.

See this link https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps

Noticed a while ago too that Google regards Movie Studio as "a less secure app".
In case you do not want to use YouTube's own upload, you need to change the setting to "Allow" on the page that the post above gives a link to.
Google doesn't "recommend this option because it may make it easier for someone to gain access to your account."

I experienced the issue when using Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0
The less secure apps settings was the issue. Thank you for posting the fix!
