canceled subscription and was charged -

copy of email sent today:

Hello – I cancelled the subscription the day I received your email Sept 7th 2023… amount -$59.88 a month ago.

I bought the program last year and added the subscription for extra options which I found not useful for my project…

I no longer need this subscription, yet I see you charged my card 10/18/23

Please credit back my account…

Also, I removed my credit card information on the Magix account website…

So how were you able to charge my card without my permission?

Please correct this…

This is the VEGAS user community and we are not able to solve your issue. You need to try and contact MAGIX Customer Service by emailing infoservice@magix.net and stating your case.

An example of current Subscription and cancellation conditions (1-year 365 Subscription):

" VEGAS Pro Edit 365 will be available immediately after payment and activation. The charge for the minimum term is payable as a single sum upon conclusion of the contract. The minimum term begins on the date of purchase. The contractual period of VEGAS Pro Edit 365 will be automatically extended by 12 months at a time until you cancel the agreement. You will be informed well in advance if the extension rate or taxes included change. A cancellation is possible up to 1 month before the end of the contract period. To cancel the contract, please send an email stating your customer number to: infoservice@magix.net "

Thank you for info...I did cancel it a month ahead and removed my credit card info at the same time so they wouldn't have access...Yet some how they did... Also contacted them and they started a ticket.

@Nancy-Oldaker Hi, in future if you cancel something have a look in your bank account, there'll prob be a Direct Debit or payment agreement. cancel that as well 👍
