Cannot connect to online services due to registration mismatch

Recently, I've been asked upon opening my Vegas Pro 15 installation to re-activate my licence. I've done that, and provided my current working e-mail address. Not long after, I've started facing problems that my Vegas Pro cannot establish a connection to the online services. I've read somewhere that deactivating and reactivating the software could solve this problem, but I've faced another problem with that: To deactivate the software, it needs to connect to the online services, which is can't, resulting in an error code -19. After a little digging, I've come up with a possible explanation to my problem: The e-mail address used for the original activation and the one used for the re-activation are not the same, which causes the above mentioned problem. To make matters worse, the original e-mail address used doesn't even exist anymore, and I have no MAGIX account associated with that registration. What could I possibly do at this point?

@MrLumie I guess you could try Online Live Chat to see if they can help. (How to contact advice here.) It seems to be active at the moment.

If Online chat cannot help try using the old inactive email address to activate. Afterwards get Magix to change your registration to your new email address. My understanding is that only Magix staff can do that.

I'm surprised you have no Magix account associated with the old registration as that address is what your software is registered to. Have you tried logging in with your old address. You will need the password you used and obviously you cannot reset it as the email Magix send will go to your old inactive address!
