Chroma Key not working

Movie Studio 16.0, Build 175. I'm stumped. This just started happening yesterday. I have a green screen clip above the clip I want to overlay. I select ChromaKey, and use the eyedropper to set the color...then nothing. The effect box shows the color I've selected, but the green is still there. I know this must be a setting or a toggle that I missed. Can anyone help?

Wow, the guy in that video is SO annoying! Yeah, I do all of that. I know how to chromakey, but, like I said, I select the color (and the effect IS enabled) but nothing happens after that.

Then you are doing something wrong or you have to reset the program to its installation settings, because it is possible like I showed you in the video.

Does movie studio have the split screen preview button? Is it disabled?

@Former user VMS Platinums have that button.
