Confused on which NewBlue Pro Titler to install

I would appreciate to know which version number of NewBlue Titler Pro that should be installed on Vegas Pro 11 (64 Bit), 402 which can be downloaded from email link sent to me when I first purchased Vegas Pro 11 online, or 411that can be downloaded directly from, their website downloads? I did read the posts on the subject and found them a little confusing...thx in advance.

The correct version is build 120402 and can be found here:

Following that link and clicking on the "download now" button, I am presented with a file called "NewBlueTitlerProForSonyVegas11Setup.exe" which happens to be the same title of all the previous versions of New Blue Titler Pro for Sony Vegas 11.

Are you telling me that you cannot add a version number next to the "Download Now" button on the website? Or that you cannot add a few more characters in that very long file name to indicate which version it truly is?

I just don't understand the continued reluctance to make a simple change that would greatly reduce any confusion for the end user? Is it a religious thing? Perhaps a subconscious desire to be sadistic?

Wouldn't it be nice for a customer to visit your website every month or so and immediately see if there has been an update? As opposed to scouring the forums here for an inconspicuous post that tells us the latest correct version?

Oh and btw, the latest version still freezes Vegas just by clicking on the plugin.

Something as simple as Version/Revision #'s.
It's been ongoing with them for a while. Even after seeing a representative here on the forums say it would be changing to show these #'s. WTF NewBlue?

To jetdv:

In your posts you use the pronoun "we" when speaking about NewBlue. Could you please elaborate for us, your role in the company (e.g. development engineer, marketing employee, owner, etc.)?

Also, could you kindly clarify exactly why version numbers are not being used, as this is being brought up over and over again without any resolution (and has therefore become a bit of a sore point for many)?

Thanks in advance,
Peter

To see how difficult it is to incorporate the version number in the file name, I just right clicked and renamed it.
