Crash on startup

Hello, I'm getting a really annoying persistent crash on startup with sony vegas pro 14.0 edit.

Every time I start the program it stops working right when the launcher tries to load Microsoft.PackageManagement.MetaProvider.Powershell.resources.dll.

I'm not sure what this is but the rest of my PC works just fine.

I'm on Windows 10, i5 3500k, SLI gtx 970s.

Thanks!

Has it ever worked?

If it has "ever worked", try resetting (note point 4 in instructions). If that does not help, try reinstalling the program. Some possible causes why the program can't start speculated here.

It worked once but I've just got home from a long trip and have been updating and installing a lot on my PC so I have no idea what changed. I've reinstalled the program several times on different drives and nothing. I've reset the cache and that didn't do anything. I've not sure what to do with the information on the page about the PowerShell files. Thanks guys, I'm extremely stumped by this.
