Crash whenever I click 'make a movie' button

Hello, I bought Movie Studio Platinum 15 in December, after having upgraded from 14 and 11 many years before that. I'm having a bit of a problem in that whenever I click the 'make a movie' button on a certain project, it immediately crashes the program. It's only a simple project. I'm using 15.0 build 157, Windows 7 64 bit, Nvidia GTX 970.

I had been using the program fine earlier and I had even done a few renders. Although it crashed half way through one of those as well. I have to be honest I'm really unimpressed by the overall stability of the program so far, but right now I can't even render my project so I'm completely stuck. Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Ali

If it worked before, at least try resetting. Note points 3 and 4 in the steps.

Just an update, if I go to file>render as, it works! So it's literally just clicking the 'make a movie' button in any context which causes the crash.

Hello @Ali-Price,

I am currently not finding a crash on the reporting system that matches you description and repro steps. When sending in the crash report, could you place add you forum user name so that I can easily find it in the database?

Thank you.
