Crashes Frequently

T-McMullan wrote on 3/1/2021, 8:11 PM

I just purchased Movie Studio 17 (build204) and am running it on a Windows10 rig.
I crashes all the time and I must generate 8 to 20 of those reports every day.
1st question . Can I get a refund or replacement for this super crashy software?
2nd question : What happens to all those crash reports. My computer must have sent 100 of them so far and I haven't heard back from customer support to help me fix the obvious problems.

Any help would be appreciated.

Q 1: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/support/article/revoke-order-return-right-of-withdrawal--1515/

Q 2: The crash reports go to the developers' database.

You answered part of question one. Can I get a refund, but you didn't mention if there was a more stable version of the software.
You only sort of answered question 2. You told me where they go but not what happens afterward.

Will anyone get back to me considering how many times this program has crashed ?

Can I use the information in these reports to help fix the problem ?
Thanks for your prompt reply.

Post the text from one of your crash reports here.

Where does the program store the old reports after it sends them in ?

I found 93 reports in the folder and I've only owned the software for 10 days.
Some are erpt files and the rest are Zip files with several files inside.
here is the contents of one of the files from inside one of the zip files
