Much more information is needed as per https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/important-information-required-to-help-you--110457/ , particularly more info about your computer specs (i7 does not mean a recent generation), render settings and the media that you are using (MediaInfo request).

Not sure where you got Sony Vegas Pro 18 from - Sony hasn't been involved with Vegas Pro since Vegas Pro 13 after which it was sold to MAGIX.

In Options/Preferences/ Video the amount of RAM preview is much to high.
Put it back to default or 0
Also you have to use default at Options/Preferences/File I/O

Is there a reason you are using legacy (herite) AVC and HEVC decoding? Shouldn't be necessary.

Under help/driver update are you using a recent NVIDIA Studio driver? If not I recommend switching to it.

Anvil wrote on 8/23/2021, 9:16 AM

@j-v I'm going to put it back and try again

@RogerS I don't have any reason (I just tried to see a lot of vidéo to fix the crash and one told to do that) but I will put it back to default
And my Nvidia are already updated 😰
