credit scroll

Is there any way to stop or freeze scrolling credits? What I am trying to do is scroll from bottom to top but the last few lines I want to freeze on the screen before they dissapear and then slowly fade them away. I am using Movie Studio 14.0 Platinum and I tried many different options but so far nothing seems to work. Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Try scrolling static text manually by using Pan/Crop keyframes. You can then stop it wherever you wish.

Another option is to add a freeze frame.

A (Legacy) Text suggestion:

(Create a selection area on the timeline, Right-click the track in that selection area, and choose to add your generated media that way. Then it will match the length of the selection area.)

Adjust the values as you need. The 2nd keyframe (red) = "Hold". Add a 3rd KF and end KF if you want to scroll up the end.

I would like thank everybody for prompt responding to my question. I used EricLNZ's suggestion since it seemed the simple solution and it worked! I just wanted quickly finish my project but I will explore later all other answers. Marco, can you expand a bit on your suggestion?

Once again I appreciate your input and I am sure I will benefit again in the future from this forum and your help. In the meantime Happy New Year to all of you and many thanks for taking your time to help me to complete my weeding project.

OK, now having completed my project I would like to use DVD Architect to add some menus to give the job a bit more proffesional look. Normally at this point I would choose Make Movie -> Burn it to a DVD or Blue-ray disc, insert the disc into the burner and go to bed. This time though I decided to render my project to the file, which I can later use in DVD Architect. I choosed Render As Sony AVC/MVC format, selected Blue-ray 1920x1080-60i, 16 Mbps video stream and everything went fine except... I do not have sound in my file. It seem to me that I should have selected AVCHD 1920x1080-60i to render both video and sound but can someone comment what the Blue-ray options in this case are for?

The Blu-ray template is video stream only. Export the audio separately using Wave, Sony Wave64 or Dolby Digital AC3. It should only take a few secs. Use the same file name and put it in the same folder as the video file and DVDA will pick it up automatically.
